Vigneti Massa Timorasso Cru ' Montecitorio 2022 MSS-MTC22

HK$660.00

From a single eastern-facing vineyard in the village of Monleale, Montecitorio comes from a cooler site, and so its first vintage (2010) had appeared to produce wines that fall in between Costa del Vento and Sterpi — i.e., more mineral than the former and richer than the latter. Timorasso is one of the longest-aging white varieties in Italy.

Vigneti Massa

Five generations of the Massa family have laboured tirelessly to keep the Timorasso grape from extinction on the steep hills east of the city Tortona. Timorasso grape is an ancient, endangered variety, which is also very difficult to grow and comes with a small yield.

Piedmont

Located in the northwestern part of Italy, Piedmont's reds are renowned around the world. Piedmont is the home to Nebbiolo, a famous grape variety contributing to the creation of excellent Barolo and Barbaresco!
